The main purpose of this blog is to fulfill an assignment requirement for a Grad Seminar. The class is called Digital Audiences, and each of these posts will deal with the subject of digital media in the scope of social media and other online activity. I have had a number of blogs over the years, but never one with this type of focus. I am finding it an interesting subject, especially using TV and other digital media as a focus. The blog posts for class will all center around how social media and internet use is portrayed in different forms of digital media.
As a teacher and a student, I use digital media every single day. My students also use it every day even when they aren't supposed to! My goal, at least for my classroom is to try to make digital media meaningful and not just something we use because we have easy access to it.
